The Angelina Sedum is handy plant to have around for any miniature gardener. The stems can be pinched and harvested for your miniature planter pots. The cuttings can be started right in your garden bed, creating “mini” shrubs before they get too big in a few seasons. It’s easy to grow: drought tolerant when established in ground or in pots, it can easily dry out in between watering sessions (but don’t let it stay dry for too long.) And it’s hardy! It’s rated for Zone 3 or -30F. It’ll turn bright yellow in the full, hot sun. Keep it in a cool-sun/part sun spot for that fun limey-green color. Add interest and depth to your under-story with this drought tolerant Sedum that does very well in full-sun and dry soil, (but not too long or too often – see below.)White flowers in summer. Pinch back leggy stems. Divide every two to three years, to keep it fresh and happy. Use the cuttings to make more plants or miniature flower arrangements. full sun to part sun let the soil dry out in between watering sessions to avoid over-watering keep in full-sun for the best color white blooms in summer pinch-back leggy stems to increase bushiness use cutting for your tiny pots After a two or three years, it will spread to 10 to 12″ wide. If left to grow, the height can reach over 1 foot tall, apparently. (But we play, pinch and divide it too much for that to happen. Lol!) hardy to -40F or Zone 3 to 9 heat hardy zones 9 thru 1 comes in a 4″ pot an outdoor plant ~~~ From Irene in PA: Hello Janit and Steve!I just received my order today and everything was in great shape.
